For high loads, even in vertical applications. In the bridge or cantilever axis type, the linear axis with rack and pinion drive is particularly torsion-resistant thanks to its closed aluminum profile. It is designed for highly dynamic movements with long travel distances. The integrated lubrication pinions ensure that the rack and pinion drive is supplied with grease. The stroke can be freely selected in millimetre steps, allowing any number of rack and pinion segments to be connected in series. The linear unit can be customized in the configurator with a wide range of options, such as limit switches and distance measuring systems. Bridge axes with rack and pinion drive are equipped with a closed aluminium profile and external HIWIN double guide in O-arrangement. This makes the bridge axes particularly torsionally rigid and sized for maximum torque loads. Thanks to the rack and pinion drive, the bendable positioning modules are particularly suitable for applications where high positioning accuracy and speeds are required.
HC-R

Cantilever axes with rack and pinion drive are bendable positioning modules in which the drive block is stationary while the cantilever moves. The closed aluminium profile with integrated HIWIN double guide in O-arrangement makes the cantilever axis particularly torsion-resistant, making it particularly suitable for vertical applications with high loads. High feed forces and speeds can also be realised.
