Static load rating C0
If a linear guideway system is subjected to excessive loads or impacts during movement or at a standstill, localised permanent deformation occurs between the track and balls. As soon as this permanent deformation exceeds a certain level, it affects smooth operation of the guideway. According to its basic definition, the static load rating corresponds to a static load that causes permanent deformation of 0.0001 × ball diameter at the contact point that is loaded the most. The values are given in the tables for each linear guideway system. Using these tables, the designer can select a suitable linear guideway system. The maximum static load to which a linear guideway system is subjected must not exceed the static load rating.
Permissible static moment M0
The permissible static moment is the moment which, in a defined direction and size, corresponds to the maximum possible load on the moving parts by the basic static load rating. The permissible static moment is defined for linear motion systems for three directions: MX, MY and MZ.
Solid steel block SE
For continuous operation at temperatures above 80 °C, solid steel blocks with steel deflection systems are used. The standard end seals are replaced by heat-resistant end seals and the plastic cover caps of the profile rail by brass cover caps.
HIWIN coating HICOAT CZS
HICOAT CZS is a very thin zinc coating that offers a very good corrosion protection, even on radii and chamfers. Smaller bare parts stay protected by the cathodic corrosion protection. Compared with uncoated pieces this leads to significantly higher periods of use. The CZS coating is available for the HG, EG and CG series. HIWIN coating HICOAT CTS
HICOAT CTS is a thin layer chrome coating that offers good corrosion protection and a very high wear protection. The high wear protection results from the extraordinary hardness of the coating. The CTS coating is free of Cr(VI) and suitable for use in food stuffs. It is available for the HG, EG, CG and WE series. Long-term lubrication unit E2
The long-term lubrication unit extends the relubrication intervals significantly. Depending on the application and ambient conditions this can last for the entire service life. It also significantly reduces the amount of lubricant that is used as only the required amount of lubricant is applied. The compact design and special structure mean that the block can be installed in any position without having an impact on the lubricating effect. The long-term lubrication unit can be used at an ambient temperature of -10°C to +60°C.

Forskydningsmodstand i forhold til smøretilstand
En løbevogns forskydningsmodstand afhænger af mange faktorer, f.eks. af belastningen, temperaturen, smøremidlet (fedt, flydende fedt, olie), smøremiddelmængden, bevægelseshastigheden, serien, konstruktionsstørrelsen og tætningssystemet. Konkret angivelse af forskydningsmodstanden er derfor kun mulig under definerede rammebetingelser. En væsentlig faktor i den forbindelse er smøremidlet og smøretilstanden. I netop smurt tilstand er forskydningsmodstanden forøget markant. Allerede efter en indkøringsfase på 15 meter reduceres forskydningsmodstanden imidlertid igen med ca. 50 %.

En profilskinneførings funktionsmåde
En profilskinneføring giver mulighed for en lineær bevægelse ved hjælp af rullelegemer. Ved at bruge kugler eller ruller mellem skinne og løbevogn kan en profilskinneføring nå en yderst præcis lineær bevægelse.
Profilskinneføring – fedtsmøring via en smørenippel
I følgende video ser du, hvordan der kan monteres en smørenippel-adapter på en profilskinnevogns løbevogn. Dette reducerer arbejdet til en smøring til et minimum. Smøremidler reducerer principielt slitagen, beskytter komponenten mod tilsmudsning og forlænger dermed brugsvarigheden. Smøremidlet er et konstruktionselement og bør derfor tages med i betragtning allerede ved skitsen til en maskine. Som alle valselejer har også HIWIN-profilskinneføringer en tilstrækkelig forsyning af smøremidler. Her er der grundlæggende mulighed for både en fedt- og en oliesmøring.
Langtidssmøreenhed for en profilskinneføring
Langtidssmøreenheden til profilskinneføringer gør det muligt at øge smøreintervallerne betydeligt og dermed reducere antallet af vedligeholdelsesintervaller. Afhængigt af behov kan der monteres op til to langtidssmøreenheder pr. løbevogn.
