We supply key drive components for a high-precision 5-axis milling centre as part of the development of modern training machines by an Austrian machine tool manufacturer.
Our UR roller guides, ground ballscrews and water cooled LMFA linear motors are used; together, they form the basis for precise, dynamic and durable motion control across all axes.
Thanks to their line contact, the UR roller guides used offer a high load-carrying capacity and ensure stable guidance even during complex 5-axis machining operations. In addition, the ground ballscrews ensure highly accurate positioning and repeatability, as required for training applications with reproducible machining results. The water cooled linear motors used also enable dynamic and low-wear traverse movements, even under high thermal loads.
The combination of the various drive technologies allows for a realistic simulation of industrial machining processes and creates optimal conditions for practical training in the range of machining.
In particular, our customer greatly appreciated the technical support and the fact that all components were supplied from a single source. This enabled us to achieve a coordinated system design and efficient integration into the machine concept.
